S2 just finished working on creating comics. They took photos with a digital camera and then used Word to create the comics. They came up with some great ideas. The French assistant Fabien helped with the French.

Here’s how to do it: Comic strip.doc   And our results:

Only one more week till Easter break….Keeping busy though:

S1 – students are getting ready for exams next week and are realising just how much they have learnt this year.

S2 – students read about France using a great website ( http://www.info-france-usa.org/kids) and created a class quiz. There were over 70 questions! The top mark was 59 by Megan and Elizabeth. Congratulations. Hope you enjoyed the maltesers!

S3 – students have created a checklist to mark each other’s written work about daily routine. Hopefully they can put it to the test tomorrow and iron out the mistakes.

S4 – students can breathe a sigh of relief now that folios are finished, parents evening is over and the final speaking test is done. Yippee! Now onto revision! Get revising using the school website links – www.grantowngrammar.highland.sch.uk

S5 – students are finally getting to grips with perfect and imprefect tenses in preparation for their directed writing. Check out www.languagesonline.org.uk for further practice.

This is the new blogging page for all French classes of Grantown Grammar School. The idea is to post your work for the world to see, give you the chance to comment and assess one another’s work, share thoughts on your learning and get everyone speaking more French! Happy blogging and hope to see lots of comments from everyone.
